The register is built from individual treatment events rather than transcribed after the fact. Each treatment captures the product (referenced to the MOCCAE registered list of veterinary medicines), the dose, the route of administration, the animal (by TAMM identification), the date and time, the prescribing vet, and the clinical reason. The register that ADAFSA wants to see at inspection is built from those captures continuously - it is never separately constructed.

Each veterinary product carries a withdrawal period (for meat, for milk, or both). When the treatment is captured, the withdrawal period is applied to the animal automatically, calculated from the treatment date. The animal moves to a cleared-for-supply state only when the withdrawal has elapsed. Despatch lots cannot include animals still in withdrawal - the system blocks the assignment. This eliminates the Federal Law No. 9 of 2017 exposure that manual tracking carries.

The vet has their own login and uses the field app during the visit. Treatments captured on their phone are attributed to them, time-stamped, and added to the animal record at the point of treatment. No paper for the farm office to transcribe, no end-of-visit ritual. ADAFSA Animal Health Regulation No. 3 of 2008 governs vet practice in Abu Dhabi; the platform supports it without changing how the vet works.

Animal mortality is recorded as an event on the animal record with the cause (where determined by the vet), the date, and the disposal route. The platform supports the holding's reporting obligations - ADAFSA expects mortality records to be retained and available - and consolidates the data for any biosecurity reporting MOCCAE requires during an outbreak. The animal is automatically removed from active counts but the historical record is retained.

Yes. Vaccination schedules are configured per animal group - sheep against PPR, goats against PPR and CCPP, cattle against FMD, camels against their species-specific programme. The schedule generates due-date reminders and tracks completion against the schedule. When ADAFSA's vaccination programme updates - MOCCAE administers active programmes - the schedule updates accordingly.

The UAE has experienced documented outbreaks of FMD, lumpy skin disease, brucellosis, and avian flu in the past five years. When MOCCAE or ADAFSA triggers a biosecurity response, the holding needs to produce an animal-by-animal record of movements, treatments, vaccinations, and clinical signs. The platform produces those reports in seconds. The platform also locks down movement permits during quarantine periods and tracks vaccination status against any emergency campaign.

Yes. The last 12-18 months of treatment events, vet invoice records, and vaccination history are digitised and brought into the platform during the build - so the register launches with history, not empty. Where vet practices already maintain digital records (some UAE practices use Vetstoria, VetlinkPRO, or proprietary systems), we extract from those systems directly.
